A Journey to Italy including The Shroud of Turin and Rome
Join Us!
Dear Friends,
Many, many years ago I had the great privilege of visiting the Holy Shroud of Turin in the Cathedral there – I think it must have been 1978 or 79. Although there was then, and still is now, some scientific controversy about whether it could be the burial shroud of the Lord, I was moved to tears when I saw it and knew in my heart that I was “that close” to something that had itself been “that close” to the Lord himself, guarding and protecting his dead body as he awaited the resurrection.

This pilgrimage to pray before such a holy relic will be the same for you. I know we eat and drink the Lord’s body and blood almost on a daily basis, but, to see, and be entrapped in the wonders of the Shroud itself will be a most memorable spiritual experience.
So, what else is true? Well, Milan, Turin and Rome – three great cities, and Italy – a great experience a waits you! We shall visit the famous Leonardo “Last Supper” (subject to ticketing), travel by Italian superfast train, and visit St Peter’s, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps, and lots of other great places in Rome.
Your memories will last forever. We stay in first class hotels, eat at superb restaurants, pray before awesome relics and have – along the way – some great fun! You will meet interesting people, enjoy fascinating times, come to know more about our Catholic Church, and be renewed in your spiritual life.
Come and join us! Ci vuole una vita! The Italians say – it means “you need a lifetime”, well, we only have 9 days but we’ll do our best to give you 9 days you’ll never forget.
